Bryson Alden - Blacksmith

I am a traditional blacksmith, using a coal forge, a 150-year-old anvil, and all the traditional tools of blacksmithing. I am committed to learning more about this art, and to that end have studied under several master smiths and learn by doing and making mistakes every day. I have evolved from forging the usual smithing projects into creating unique sculptures, and at this point mostly work with flower forms that have their roots in nature but encompass my own vision. I also forge figurative pieces of people and animals, and of course there's no getting around the fact that I have a growing reputation as a custom damascus knife maker, but am far more interested in art than sharp, pointy things at this point.

Rental Space Available in the Foyer

Have you ever wanted to try being in an art gallery without the full commitment? If so, you may be interested

in the opportunity to rent a display case, a grid wall. The cabinets and grid walls are located in the hall,

just outside our gallery.  These can be rented for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, and would be ideal for small paintings,

jewelry, small wood or pottery pieces. If this interests you, please contact us for more information.
