Julie Kraut - Watercolor

My name is Julie Kraut. I’ve been seriously painting for over 12 years. I started in acrylic and then changed to mainly watercolor, some mixed media.

My husband and I moved from Arlington to Monroe 2 1/2 years ago. I’ve always loved the Puget Sound and especially the town of Snohomish. I’ve visited Arts of Snohomish gallery a few times and have wanted to become a member for a while. Now that I'm a member, I think that it will be a way to meet new artists and a great creative collaboration.

I’m self-taught and have taken classes online and through local artists.

Being artistic is a big part of my life. It is my way of being creative and a good way to be in my happy place. I am retired and paint at least 5 days a week.

I get inspiration through gardening, traveling and photography.

Rental Space Available in the Foyer

Have you ever wanted to try being in an art gallery without the full commitment? If so, you may be interested

in the opportunity to rent a display case, a grid wall. The cabinets and grid walls are located in the hall,

just outside our gallery.  These can be rented for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, and would be ideal for small paintings,

jewelry, small wood or pottery pieces. If this interests you, please contact us for more information.
