Member of the Sky Valley Artists Guild. First instruction was a book by Jon Gnagy on Learn How to Draw at age 11. Won a 3rd place ribbon (4H/Fair) at 11 years old due to that book and my 6th grade teacher. I took every art class available in junior high & high school. Wrote a book in 2020 called The Teeth Book with watercolor characters I painted. (Self published on Blurb.com) Taken classes from Joan Pinney off & on since 2013. Intensive 5 day workshop with Drawing On The Right Side of the Brain (Betty Edward's son & granddaughter taught) for graphite drawing training Sept 2025. Took another Still Life class from them 2026. Art shown by word of mouth in social circles. 1st commissioned piece May 2026. Prior were gifts.

I have always enjoyed art as an expression of appreciation whether it be drawing or painting an animal, scenery or a person. People and animals have such character to admire! Breathtaking scenery is abundant in the PNW. I’ve lived in Montana, Alaska and Washington. Sharing the beauty, moods, nature and creative adventure from the brush or pencil is what I intend to do with my art.
