Tracey Stockdale - Watercolor

"Visiting Artist from Sky Valley Art Guild"

Tracey Stockdale has loved drawing and sketching since childhood, finding joy in capturing the people, animals, and moments that make life meaningful. Although she took only a few art classes after high school, her passion for creating never faded.

In recent years, Tracey has devoted more time to developing her artistic skills through watercolor painting. She has studied under watercolor artist Joan Pinney through classes at the Monroe Senior Center, where she continues to explore new techniques and grow as an artist.

Tracey is an active member of the Sky Valley Artists Guild and enjoys sharing her work with fellow artists and the local community. In April 2026, she entered a watercolor painting in the Ben Franklin Art Show, where the piece was successfully sold—an exciting milestone in her artistic journey.

Inspired by her family, pets, and everyday life, Tracey's artwork reflects her appreciation for the beauty found in ordinary moments. She particularly enjoys working from photographs she has taken herself, transforming treasured memories into expressive watercolor paintings.

Through her art, Tracey hopes to capture warmth, personality, and the special connections that make each subject unique.

I love capturing everyday life in Monroe Washington in mainly watercolor medium - I’ve always taken pictures of my family and numerous pets, so I have many subjects to inspire me. At 63 it is a joy to be creative, and I continue to be inspired by my fellow seniors and artists
